It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Calderwood...
Calderwood residents gathered for the third annual 'Calderwood Christmas Tree Lighting' ceremony on Thursday 7th December.
As has become tradition, residents followed Santa's sleigh from Rowan Place to the Calderwood Christmas tree (kindly donated by Scottish Woodlands) - where Santa was greeted by excited children, brass band and Christmas carols!

This year, Angela Constance (MSP) led the countdown and switched on the Calderwood Christmas Tree lights. Residents were delighted to see the Christmas tree looking brighter and more dazzling than ever.

In the spirit of Christmas, volunteers from The Larder Cook School braved the cold to serve hot drinks and tasty treats to residents throughout the evening. Delicious hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies were all on offer on the night, and enjoyed enormously by all.

As always, Peter Stirling was in attendance and was accompanied with a very special delivery from his farm in Arbroath... Brussel Sprouts of course! Unsurprisingly, it is an incredibly busy time at the farm with Christmas just around the corner; so this kind gesture was appreciated all the more.

Well done to the Calderwood Residents' Association for organising another hugely successful community event in Calderwood.
From everyone here at Stirling Developments, we would like to wish you all a very...
